Funweek

During my job search here in Toronto I've been keeping myself busy by taking on personal projects. This one was a project put on by FreeCHURCH for week of activities for parents and kids. The identity needed to be flexible, fun, approachable, and somewhat neutral to apply to future campaigns. The FreeChurch logo was integrated into the top left corner to make sure the association to the church is understood. The imagery was inspired by different activities that will be taking place during funweek.

The turn around on this project was a couple of days and I wanted illustration for this poster. Luckily I have a very talented and quick illustrator friend in Julia Tiller who provided the imagery funweek needed. Big thanks.

Happy Birthday

During the first week after I moved to Toronto my friend Vicky asked me to help her out on a birthday card she was making. I was involved with the some of the pre-planning but all my suggestions were much less extravagant than she intended. But I'm happy to say she didn't listen to me because this card turned out much nicer than I imagined it in my head. All I did was the typography on the front. It's quite as refined as I think it can be but I only had a couple of hours to get it finished. Regardless I think the card turned out nicely. Great job Vicky.
